I must change my review of Dr. Titko under my other account of KJax.PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT HAVE HER DO SURGERY ON YOU! Do your research and get a second opinion! Less than 5 months since she did my foot surgery, I am having another one by a Orthopedic Surgeon that specializes in feet. I had a bad feeling the evening of my surgery that things did not go well. My big toe was resting on top of my second toe. When she called me that evening of my surgery to check on me, I asked if this is normal? She said "no, move it". As in move my big toe off my second toe. This never recovered and not sure what happened during surgery to make my big toe sit on top of my second toe. I still have arthritis (pain in my big toe). All Dr. Titko did was, make my big toe shorter, create an uncomfortable situation walking with my big toe on top of my second toe and NOT relieve the pain in my joint and oh throwing in two screws which I still do not know the purpose of these screws. My Ortho Surgeon said I still have the arthritis and no spacing in the joint where the arthritis is. I was expected to walk on my foot right after surgery, ridiculous! And no PT was mentioned for my foot after surgery.Always go with your gut feeling! I thought I could trust her after seeing her for my feet problems for 13 yrs, but GET A SECOND opinion!!! The day of surgery, I heard her go off, yelling at the staff at the surgery center before coming to see me. It was about some type of computer issue and threatened not to come back to this surgery center. Again gut feeling, I should of left right then before letting her operate on me. Her personality is very assertive and rough around the edges. NO BEDSIDE manners. And as I said in my last review, DO NOT ask her how many stitches there are, as her response to my wife's question was "enough". Unacceptable DR. TITKO!In summary, GET A SECOND OPINION! Dr. Titko should stick to toe nail trimming and maybe bunion removal. NOT SURGERY!
